Dartmouth has appointed Derek Walker as the executive director of the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society, effective March 10.
Dr. Sarah Kelly is researching the impact of wind projects on Mapuche Huilliche communities in southern Chile. She highlights concerns about a commercial-scale wind farm harming critical peatlands and promotes Indigenous participation in environmental decision-making.
Applications for the 2025 New Energy Summer Summit are now open! Advanced PhD students, postdocs, or assistant professors focused on topics in energy and climate, with a strong interest in building their capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration are eligible to apply.
