    On April 7, 2025, the Irving Institute co-sponsored a dialogue featuring Dan Brouillette, a former Republican Secretary of Energy, and Kevin Knobloch, a Democratic former Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Energy, demonstrating their ability to engage in a civil discussion about the pressing issues facing the nation's energy infrastructure despite their political differences.
